• YNOT is a youth community charitable organization supporting youth with skill development and empowering them to reach the fullest of their potentials through programs and services.

• Volunteers are highly-valued and could find rich opportunities to become involved as builders e.g. Role Model to a youth, organizational capacity-builders with the community agencies, administrative office support, youth counselor, youth outreach, youth mentor, community-capacity-builders with grass-root community organizations or any other area you may like to volunteer.

Office Support Staff

You can support with book filing, phone calls, emailing and other necessary office work. Few hours from volunteers can minimize a lot of office work load.

Community capacity –builder with grass-root community organization

This is a very good opportunity to work with the real people in the community. People that really need the services and programs we provide to the community. Volunteers and staff work in partnership with other community organization to accomplish our set goals and objectives.

Youth Counselors

You will work as a youth counselor with our team of counselors supporting youth in our Empower Children For Greater Tomorrow, Defining Who You Are, Spiritual Enrichment and other program as the need many arise.

Trainers

In this position, volunteers will provide leadership in the orientation and training sessions for Grant Action Team members.

Speakers’ Group

These volunteers will undertake speaking engagements during our workshops, seminars and will also represent the organization in schools including colleges and universities.

Panelists

These volunteers will participate as panel speakers at YNOT sponsored workshops, seminars, conferences, symposia, etc

Students

Students volunteering with our programs will get their 40 hours community hours upon completion, as required by the school system.

Fund Raising

Fund raising is one of the key important areas we need volunteers. It is absolutely impossible for us to continue with our programs and services without funds.

We always need volunteers to support us with our fund raising activities in the community. Any time you can put to make this happen will be appreciated.

Become a member of YNOT grant application team. This position suits volunteers with experience, knowledge and skills in one or more of the four Priority Areas of the YNOT Grants Program, (i.e. Family, Education, Employment and Crime Prevention/Justice) who, can serve as members of the Grant application team.

• Volunteers can play a valuable role as members of YNOT Board.
• The criteria for membership on the Board of Directors are outlined in the YNOT Constitution.
• Youth Mentors / Role Models
• Most of the young people we support in the community need a positive role models and mentors. It is fulfilling when you stand as a positive role model or a mentor to the youth who needs it in his/her life. You can make a huge difference in the life of a youth in the community by putting few hours to support in his/ her struggle.
